This month’s guest blogger for The Blogging Life went missing on me. Since I intended that this be a monthly feature, I needed to step in and write the November post. Perhaps, when I figure out how to effectively utilize guest bloggers, I will write a post on the ins and outs of guest blogging. In the meantime, if you are interested in writing a guest post or have a topic you want to suggest for The Blogging Life please fill out the contact form at the end of this post.
This month’s topic is community events also known as blogging events – the who, what, when, why and how of participating in these events. Or as I call it, The Five W’s of Community Blogging Events.
For the longest time, I dismissed community blogging events. I told myself community events were something to do after I became more comfortable with this blogging thing. Continue reading “The Five W’s of Community Blogging Events”
October is Ghouls, Goblins & Guest Bloggers month at from the sticks to the bricks and back again. Today’s guest blogger is Michelle from the creative duo Moose and Michelle who blog over at The Lonely Tribalist.
The Lonely Tribalist as explained in their about page is “a blog run by Michelle, a 22 year old college super senior studying Applied Linguistics and looking toward a bright future of tricked out ramen dinners and taking people’s orders for coffee. By her side is her support companion, Moose, a 35 year old world-weary traveler intent on spreading the gospel of sustainability and tribalism one impromptu Starbucks conversation at a time.”
No subject is off limits at The Lonely Tribalist so please visit Michelle and Moose and their eclectic collection of posts after reading Happy Halloween: Another Day in Paradise.
There is a lot going on at from the sticks to the bricks and back again this October. Two guest blogging opportunities (Ghouls, Goblins & Guest Bloggers and The Blogging Life) and a Facebook Promotion were announced in October.
The Facebook Promotion and Ghouls, Ghosts & Goblins run through October while The Blogging Life is a ongoing guest blogging opportunity. Continue reading “October Fun Days at from the sticks to the bricks and back again”

My Follow Friday feature is all about community building so it is no accident that I found this week’s featured blog over at A Momma’s View blog party post to celebrate her recent Entertainer Blogger Award. It was in the comments section that I found Eli Pacheco of Coach Daddy, a blog as the tagline suggests is all about fatherhood, futbol and food; European futbol that is not American.
